How to Use the CloudLinux VPS Template

This means that you will only need topurchase and activatea Cloudlinux license to take full advantage of its features and benefits. Just follow these steps:
Step 1 Obtain a License Key
Visit theCloudLinuxwebsite and and follow the instructions to purchase a license suitable for your needs
If you will get anIP-based license, check yourVPS IP address. In this case, you will not require a license key
Get your valid license key after purchase and keep it at hand you will need it in the next step
Step 2 Activate the License Key
Access your serverusing SSHusing the following command:
<code>ssh root@vps-ip</code>
Replacing
vps-ipwith theIP addressof your VPS.Next, run the
rhnreg_kscommand to activate the license key:<code>/usr/sbin/rhnreg_ks --activationkey=[activation key]</code>
Replacing
[activation key]with your key value.If you have anIP-based license, use the
clnreg_kscommand instead:<code>/usr/sbin/clnreg_ks --force</code>
Step 3 Verify the Activation
To verify that your CloudLinux license is properly activated, use the following command:
<code>cldetect --check-license</code>
If the license does not appear to be active, go over the activation process once more.
